FEDERAL UNIVERSITY LOKOJA: "Movement to Permanent Site is a death Sentence", Abraham says.

The University's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Angella Freeman Miri had announced that the institution had moved permanently from their temporary site located at Adankolo to Permanent site in Crusher Felele on 11th of December. This movement led to diverse opinions by students. A concerned student named Abraham thus shared his regarding the welfare of students if the move is truly implemented.  He writes, raising issues on the permanent site structures, security, country's present situation, and the Student's Union.

The concerned Student writes, "We are not fully ready to move to the permanent site judging by the structures already in place. Moving there will place the lives of Students at risk as there is no perimeter fence round the school yet".

He added that, a vivid look at the country's situation would not make the movement to permanent site advisable. He said there are cases of kidnapping, cult clash, rape and other vices currently trending in the country". He suggests that a police station should be made available, adequate electricity, and a clean water should be made available before Students are considered to move to the permanent site.

Abraham calls on the Voice of the students, the Student's Union, to ensure that these necessities are in place before relocation. In his words, "the Student's Union should ensure this is done even if it's to stage a peaceful protest upon resumption just for the Student's sake.
